Rachel Lauren Stevens was born April 9, 1978 in London, United Kingdom. She started to take her acting lessons when she was young and in 1989 she made her film debut. In 1993 Rachel won a modeling contest sponsored by UK teen magazine. When she was 19 Rachel was auditioned and picked for a new pop group 'S-Club 7'. The group was composed of 3 females and 3 males, and was managed by the Spice Girls manager. In 2003 after a successful UK tour, the 'S-Club 7' broke up, and Stevens released a succesful solo album called 'Funky Dory'. In 2007 Rachel Stevens took part in series of 'Strictly Come Dancing' and together with Vincent Simone hold the record for the most perfect 10s ever achieved.
